Getting your leads out of a CSV spreadsheet and into your CRM quickly is key to converting prospects into active deals. This guide walks you step-by-step through importing your Quick Simple Leads data file directly into HubSpot CRM.

Step 1: Navigate to the HubSpot Import Tool
  1. Log into your HubSpot account.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click on CRM or Contacts and select Contacts.

  3. In the top-right corner of the Contacts dashboard, click the orange Import button.

Step 2: Choose Your Import Type & File
  1. Click Start an import.

  2. Select Import file from computer, then click Next.

  3. Choose One file, then click Next.

  4. Select One object, then click Next.

  5. Choose Contacts as the object type you are importing.

  6. Click Choose a file and upload your .csv file received from Quick Simple Leads.

Step 3: Map Your CSV Columns to HubSpot Properties

HubSpot will automatically attempt to match your CSV headers to standard contact fields. Verify and align the mapping using the table below:

Step 4: Finalize Import Details & Save
  1. Name your import: Give your list a recognizable name (e.g., Quick_Simple_Leads_Dallas_HVAC_Jul2026).

  2. Set Lead Source (Optional but Recommended): Assign a tag or set the Original Source field to Offline Drilldown / Quick Simple Leads so you can easily track conversion ROI.

  3. Confirm Marketing Consent: Check the required box certifying that you have authorization to contact these leads in accordance with HubSpot’s Acceptable Use Policy.

  4. Click Finish Import.
